LUK Mental Health Awareness Training Grant
This “train-the-trainer” grant provides for the training of 2 to 3 Mental Health Awareness Trainers who are trained in-house at LUK located in Fitchburg. LUK is targeting all community members but has a focus on higher education and first responders. Candidates will be asked to help implement trainings in those settings so it would seem to be a great fit for Fitchburg State and its students. LUK would also provide a generous stipend for the trainer to complete the trainings.
LUK has scheduled a training to be held at their Fitchburg office. This is a three-day training to be held April 10th-12th. LUK is attempting to fill these spots pretty quickly. These trainings come at no expense to the student; however, LUK is asking for the trainer to conduct a minimum of 3 trainings out in the community or at your school in 1 calendar year over a 3 year period; LUK is looking for as many as 2 or 3 candidates who are required to fill out an application.
